I don't think I've ever seen a house with a yellow door before. It would be curious to know what made them choose that color. It's certainly a high contrast with the brickwork.
Doors that stand out make for very nice photos — for me anyway although tastes may vary.

If they wanted colour splashed everywhere in the small front yard, I would plant gorgeous flowers.
